How does installing from the browser work?

On Android, open nhbcoin.com in Chrome and tap Install Now if you see it, or use the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. On iOS, open nhbcoin.com in Safari, tap the Share icon and choose Add to Home Screen. Either way no App Store is required, and the NHBCoin icon lands on your home screen.

Can I install it from Chrome on an iPhone?

Safari is the reliable way to add it to your Home Screen on an iPhone. Open nhbcoin.com in Safari, tap the Share icon and choose Add to Home Screen.

What works offline?

The app keeps its own files, and public pages you have already visited, on your device, so those can load without a connection. Pages you view while signed in are not saved to that offline copy. If you create a payment request while offline, the app queues it and sends it when you are back online, and tells you if a queued request could not be sent so you can try again.

How do I get updates?

When a new version of NHBCoin is ready, the app shows a New version available notice with a Refresh now button, or you can choose Later. Refreshing loads the latest version.

Are native iOS and Android apps coming?

Yes. The native iOS and Android apps are currently under review with the App Store and Google Play. Their listings are on the way, and this page will update the moment they are live. Until then, installing from your browser works just like a native app.

Is the installed app the same wallet as the website?

The home screen icon opens NHBCoin itself, full screen and without the browser bar, so you are using the same site and wallet as at nhbcoin.com.
